I wanted to keep the layout of the book simple and easy to read so that the information was the key part because that was trying to educate the reader, also having this simple layout aloud me get the information across easily on the 2 A5 pages i have.
I created this very simple grid where it aloud room for a large body of text at the bottom and then headings and sub headings above. i also added a 2cm edge down the inside of the pages because i knew i was going to be binding it mechanically which meant having holes down there. the black area below shows where that would be.
