We started to think about how we could get across both the Japanese and english words to fit into the logo,from research we found that Japanese text can be read up down and from left to right which was handy because we could display it in multiple ways.
I created these logos and i put a ball behind the type to give reference to it being a rugby tournament.
Me and ant started to think that this all seemed a bit too cluttered and to much was going on so we started to septette out and maybe think again. I think we need to create something that is more solid so it is recognisable and stands out.
