Brief 1: Dr Me Workshop Brief 2

For the second brief we had to create posters for a event. A live brief they were given. 

I started this late on in the day and so it was hard to generate a lot of ideas but from listening to the music and seeing the other album artwork i was able to come up with some good ideas. 

After seeing some of the above images i realised they worked a lot with distortion and bright bold colours. So i started to gather images. 



I firstly collected some distorted images which i felt worked really well with the type of music and there other album artwork. 

I had a image of water reflection which i then inverted and it created this strong looking image. 

I then layered another image on top of it and again changed the colours. 

Next i cropped the image so i could use it as a a3 poster

I think the best layout is layout 3 because the heirachy works best on that one and all the wiring can easily be read.
