Brief 12 Photography Yearbook - meeting 2

In todays meeting with photography i took along the newspaper i found in urban outfitters to show then the size and what images looked like on newsprint.

I think they were really happy with the size of the book and we all agreed that this was something that hadn't been done before and was totally different to previous yearbooks. One thing though that i showed them was that images on newsprint were not as good quality and if an image was dark it would be very hard to see what is there and what its meant to be.

They then were telling us that they liked the idea of having something with separate sheets because people could use them for something. Other key points they gave use were:

There are 33 students in photography.

500 books would be a good number.

Something grouped together as separate sheets, as in a  perforated edge or some sort of folder? The perforated idea, was something i did suggest to the design group on one of the first meetings we had before we even met photography but that was quickly brushed under the rug, but there seems to have been a change of heart. I think this idea will work really well with photographic images.
