Using the bottle that i bought to create my testers i could measureh the size of the sleeve so that it fit perfectly around. Because i want something where the service is of a high standard i want there to be a tear off bit where people can put the scent onto and maybe share with there friends.
Doing this i was able to fold the paper in the correct pace.
Because i wanted the bit that can be torn out too stand out so it was obvious it was separate i realised i could use 2 kinds of paper here, this would then create a really nice contrast and i could use 2 different types of papers. Below you can see i have just played another bit of white paper to show where another type of stock could go, between the 2 folds.
I then created this quick layout that i could maybe use for all the information for each fragrance.
Below- Working out how the infer nation might be on the sleeve so that i can see how readable it is and if it was to be turned on its side if that was still okay and looked right. Also where the perforation might be so that it can be ripped off clean.
Selecting a typeface
I think because of the nature of the brand and the examples of the bottles they showed me in the brief i think i need quite a contemporary typeface, but also something that works with a rustic look. I think from this the best choice will be a modern sans serif, this will also then work with the logo of Whistles.

i selected Garamond because i felt this worked best because i think it was bolder than the other typefaces i selected and also it was less rounded. Another reasons i selected it because the numbers didn't drop below the baseline which i prefer as i think it will work with the other information on the bottles.
